After a visit to the pumpkin patch this weekend for Baby Yenta’s first Halloween, I realized how quickly October flew by! This coming weekend, Halloween parties around the country will be in full force and with a Monday Halloween, weddings on the 29th and 30th will be sharing the spotlight with ghoulish parties and events. <\/p>\n

Halloween is not just for kids. College students know how to do Halloween (remember? If you don’t, you probably celebrated right) and 30-somethings still get dressed up for gatherings. What kinds of spooky touches might we see at Halloweddings? Believe it or not, blending tricks and<\/em> treats at a wedding creates a fun and festive atmosphere that guests can enjoy during this autumn holiday. You don’t need to create a haunted house to carry out the theme; ghoul is not the rule. But all the elements that make Halloween sweet can also find a place in your wedding. <\/p>\n

Pop quiz: Halloween colors, go! Easy, right? Black and orange, of course. Toss in these festive colors in subtle ways without having to recarpet and repaint the walls of the reception venue. Orange chargers and black chiavari chairs can accomplish a holiday-appropriate theme.
