They were introduced and had an immediate connection.  Mandy says that Marc was her Tupperware lid &#8212; sometimes you search and search for the right lid in you cupboard and when you finally find the one that fits you&#8217;re so excited!  They took things slow, as Marc was a single father, and slowly introduced his son to their relationship with &#8220;four-year-old family fun nights.&#8221; They got engaged and decided that a Jewish ceremony was important to them.<\/p>\n<p>Mandy isn&#8217;t Jewish, but the two have decided to raise their children Jewish and they both wanted to incorporate Marc&#8217;s heritage on their wedding day. They included some traditions like marrying under a chuppah because it symbolizes the beginning of a home and family. They also honored Marc&#8217;s father by reciting the prayers over the challah and wine.
