Lacy tiers of confection-y goodness make for a beautiful centerpiece on its own little table at your wedding reception. When dreaming up your vintage wedding cake, think about frostings in whites, creams, and pastels. Details like dots, scrolling, and floral motifs should fill up your cake. And your cake stand can complement your vintage dessert if its an ornate metallic piece like gold or silver. If you go for a cake topper, consider birds, scripted monogram initials, or an old fashioned bride and groom figures (this is where you can <em>actually <\/em>be vintage; borrow your mom&#8217;s or grandma&#8217;s!)<\/p>\n<p>The fillings and cake flavor can be your choice. It&#8217;s the outside the counts.
