After five years of dating, This University of Kansas couple got engaged in a romantic garden setting, where Steven surprised Liz with a candelight setting, and in front of a fountain, got down on his knee and proposed to his college sweetheart! When they left the gardens, Liz received flowers and they toasted with Champagne! <\/p>\n<p>Wedding day highlights were courtesy of the cute kids in the wedding party and a touching father\/daughter dance at the reception. The four-year-old flower girl insisted on smelling each flower petal before she placed each one individually on the floor and the ring bearer was concentrating very hard on keeping the rings on the pillow that he didn&#8217;t even notice he was tripping on the aisle runner all the way down the aisle. Precious! Liz&#8217;s dad kept the father\/daughter song a surprise and recorded his own version of &#8220;Daughters&#8221; by John Mayer and then played it during a slideshow of their special times together. It was touching and left everyone in tears!<\/p>\n<p>Liz and Steven enjoyed a very traditional wedding day and ceremony. The day began with a traditional Kabbalat Panim (bride&#8217;s reception) and Tish (groom&#8217;s reception) followed by the Bedeken (veiling ceremony). The couple signed the ketubah and Liz circled Steven seven times. Of course, the ceremony ended with a hearty &#8220;mazel tov!&#8221; when Steven stepped on the glass!
