There’s a new look and feel folks! That’s right, this is the brand new Bryanfriedman.com, and it’s better than ever. Check out all of the changes:
- I got rid of the silly front page and subpages that served no purpose. I’ve stuck with the traditional blog style – categories, comments, and all.
- I’ve changed blog systems (from b2evolution to WordPress for you geeks out there), and it’s much easier for me (and you) to manage, post, and customize everything. That means I’ll post more, you can interact more, and everything will be great! Now if anyone actually read this, we’d be in business…
- I’ve added two sweet new features: Word of the Day (courtesy of Dictionary.com) and Quote of the Day (courtesy of QuotationsPage.com). They are at the top of the page, and they will keep you coming back!
- On the right, I’ve listed links to pages and blogs that I frequent often and that you should check out.
- I’ve switched to a new photo gallery system (from Coppermine to Gallery 2 if you care). There’s a link to my Gallery on the left (under “Internal Links”). It’s where all of my pictures are stored, and you can even order prints of them from Shutterfly!
Here’s some final notes about this blog since I know most of you know nothing about blogs:
- You should LEAVE COMMENTS. Please! Just click on the “Comments” link at the bottom of a post and submit your thoughts. It boosts my ego, okay?
- You can register with the “Register” link on the left (under “Management”). This means I will know you frequent this site and you will be identified when you comment. Maybe one day I’ll even let you contribute content…maybe.
- You can subscribe to my RSS feed using the link on the right (under “Syndicate”). If you don’t know how to subscribe to RSS feeds, I suggest you check out Google Reader, and its Help section.
That’s it for now. I’ll be posting stuff more frequently. Hopefully it will be a better mix of content…some deep thoughts, short essay kind of stuff like I’ve been doing, but also some more light-hearted, simple, perhaps shorter posts to keep you interested.
