Marc and Mandy met through mutual friends at a Karaoke night at a local bar and grill. They were introduced and had an immediate connection. Mandy says that Marc was her Tupperware lid — sometimes you search and search for the right lid in you cupboard and when you finally find the one that fits you’re so excited! They took things slow, as Marc was a single father, and slowly introduced his son to their relationship with “four-year-old family fun nights.” They got engaged and decided that a Jewish ceremony was important to them.

Mandy isn’t Jewish, but the two have decided to raise their children Jewish and they both wanted to incorporate Marc’s heritage on their wedding day. They included some traditions like marrying under a chuppah because it symbolizes the beginning of a home and family. They also honored Marc’s father by reciting the prayers over the challah and wine. And of course, they enjoy a warm, fun, and timeless love, which is typically so evident in Jewish couples on their wedding day.
