In 2005, Sarah walked into her first day of work after college and she would have never guessed that afternoon she would meet her future husband in her first-ever work meeting. Keith was lucky enough to be in the cube that was diagonal from Sarah so that whenever she had a work question (“How do I use Outlook??”), he was Sarah’s first stop. Work questions turned into personal ones and before they knew it, they had become friends.

Then one day Sarah got to work early so she walked further than normal to go to the “good bagel place” and picked up a bagel and lox and thought Keith would want one too. She brought one back and put it on his desk. It wasn’t until she mentioned this to one of her friends that she thought, “Huh, I don’t normally buy bagels and lox for everyone. Maybe Keith and I are more than just friends . . . ” It was not long after that when New Years 2006 came along and they were at the same party. Their midnight kiss turned quickly into a loving relationship. Keith and Sarah have a great time together cooking dinner at night, hiking, or traveling around Europe. They always find themselves laughing and based on their smiles that plastered their faces on their wedding day, we know they’re for real!

Miriam & Jake met in college. Their freshman year actually. They’ve grown up together jumping over so many of lifes’ hurdles together. Since graduating, they’ve settled in Seattle, but made it all official in Miriam’s hometown of Palos Verdes. They choose La Venta Inn, one of the most gorgeous venues in Southern California, and right around the corner from her home!

The wedding was a fantastic blend of their personalities: light and fun, a bit whimsical, and they created an all around fabulous party. Miriam was absolutely glowing in one of the most unique and amazing wedding gowns, and Jake, incredibly dapper, was just so happy to be marrying her. You could see it. You could feel it. They were absolutely calm & giddy & filled with such excitement.

Jaime and Erik met in the traditional way that many young Jewish couples have met in today’s modern times: on JDate! Though they both lived in Boston, less than half a mile apart for years, it wasn’t until Erik saw Jaime’s profile that their paths finally crossed. Within an hour of chatting online, Erik was spilling wine on Jaime at a local restaurant (and charming her nonetheless). It didn’t take long for Jaime to realize she had met the man she had been waiting for, and Erik quickly felt the same way about Jaime. At the end of December 2009, nine months after the first glass of wine they literally shared, Erik brought Jaime back to France to introduce her to his parents. While at his childhood home, he proposed to her in a beautiful olive grove with the sun setting in the background.

On April 9, 2011, Jaime and Erik were married in Brookline, Massachusetts, where they now call home, surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful spring day, perfect for a wedding, and the wedding was likewise perfect, full of joy, love, laughter and dancing.

Nicole knew it was truly love at first sight when she met her Superman.

Sparks flew immediately when she met Dennis, her new JDate match. He was HOT! “Did I really just meet this guy on Jdate?” He looked like John Travolta from his “Grease” days. The plan was to just meet for coffee, but coffee soon turned into breakfast, and breakfast turned into an afternoon hike, and finally, at the end of the day, Nicole knew she’d just finished her first date with her future husband.

They spent Halloween together and Dennis dressed as Nicole’s favorite hero, Superman, which also happens to be the metaphor she’d always used for her true love and b’shert, whoever he’d be. In the same weekend, they enjoyed a Jason Mraz concert where they shared their first kiss! And Mraz’s song, “I’m Yours” would also be the tune they danced to at their wedding.

Nicole and Dennis were engaged six months later, followed by a wedding six months after that, and they now have a beautiful baby girl and another on the way!

Ilana and Bobby clicked when they met on JDate. They said they both knew it was love at first sight!

One night after Rosh Hashanah dinner, Ilana suggested they take a walk on the beach, and Bobby knew what his girl was hinting at — the perfect proposal opportunity! Bobby knew his girlfriend well and even had the ring in his pocket during dinner. Because his birthday was the next day, Bobby told Ilana that the only thing he wanted for his birthday is to spend the rest of his life with her. Gush! Then he dropped down to one knee and asked her to marry him. And all on Rosh Hashanah! What a way to start the Jewish new year!

Their wedding day arrived and was total perfection. Some of the highlights of the day for Ilana and Bobby were standing under the chuppah, signing the ketubah, dancing together, and just smiling with laughter! Definitely the best way to begin a life together.

Mazel tov, Ilana and Bobby!
