They didn’t have a large budget, and she scoured every possible inch of the web, local resources, and personal contacts trying to complete the vision she wanted, but without spending loads of cash. When she went looking for the cake topper, she had always dreamed of one that was encrusted in crystals. But, when she saw the price tag online, WHOA! Her dream almost faded away. But, after a few different trial runs, they finally ended up with a styrofoam spray painted set that she and her husband covered in crystals. And that was the start of a lucrative resource that can help all brides get the bling they deserve on their wedding day! Melissa’s passionate about weddings and loves to offer advice about the design and crystal choice of the cake toppers. Because she’s a true wedding junkie, her personal eye for style makes sure that the bling topper complements the cake design and wedding decorations.
“I love finding out how each bride has built her dream wedding,” says Melissa. “Sometimes it’s with use of colors, such as the A&G wedding. They used the colors of the peacock feathers to incorporate into their wedding reception. The bride was not going to be taking on her husband’s name, and wasn’t sure what to do on top of the cake.
I suggested using their first name initials, and choosing bold colors to coordinate with the hand painted feature of their wedding cake.”
